Cookie Policy
How we use cookies to keep your exams secure.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files saved on your phone, tablet, or computer when you visit a website. At Certify, we do not use cookies to track you across the internet or sell your data. Instead, we use them primarily to make sure our platform functions properly and your exam sessions remain strictly secure.
2. How We Use Them
Because we run a secure testing environment, cookies are legally and technically necessary for us to operate. We use them for:
- Strictly Necessary (Security): These are mandatory. They keep you securely logged in, remember your progress during a live exam, and ensure that no one else is trying to hijack your testing session. Without these, you literally cannot take a test on our platform.
- Platform Performance: We use basic, anonymized analytics to see which pages are loading slowly or if the website crashes. This helps us fix bugs quickly and keep the platform running smoothly for everyone.
- Functional Preferences: These just remember small choices you make, so you do not have to keep re-entering information every time you visit.
3. Payments & Third-Party Cookies
When you pay for an exam fee, we use Razorpay, an RBI-authorized payment gateway. Razorpay uses their own secure cookies to safely process your payment, prevent fraud, and comply with Indian banking regulations. We never see or store your credit card details, UPI PINs, or bank passwords on our servers.
4. Managing Your Choices
You can use your browser settings to block or delete cookies at any time. However, please be aware: if you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to log in, and you will not be able to start or complete an exam. The system will automatically block your access to protect the integrity of the tests.
